Discover the Dubai Water Canal

Willing to add even more excitement to your cruise with our yacht charter in Dubai?

We offer cruises on the recently opened Dubai Water Canal. Here, you can admire one of the most impressive sights in the city, all in the coziness and luxury of an exquisite yacht for rent from our fleet in Dubai.

Short description of the Dubai Water Canal

The Dubai Water Canal is an artificial canal which was inaugurated in 2016 and it represents an AED 2.7 billion project. Its width ranges between 80 and 120 meters, its length is 3.2 km and has a 6 meters depth, being crossed by 8-meter high borders.

The Canal is the last portion of the Dubai Creek which ends up in the Arabian Gulf. Here, a yacht for rent in Dubai of maximum 32 meters in length and 8.5 meters in height can travel through, at a maximum speed of seven knots.

While cruising along the Canal, one can admire different boating and lifestyle attractions, such as the Marasi Business Bay – the first purpose-built yachting destination in the region, a mixed-use waterfront location which includes residential, tourism and retail sectors.

The Dubai Water Canal is wonderful to cruise through in a yacht for rent in Dubai. It is built to intersect with the main artery in Dubai, the Sheikh Zayed Road, across the Safa Park and in the Jumeirah residential district.

Here the tourists can also admire a mechanical waterfall, at the point where the Canal passes by the Sheikh Zayed Road bridge. This marvelous waterfall that is motion-operated impels water through the bridge in a steady flow, which can be seen from the promenade. The waterfall switches off automatically when a sensor detects a vessel coming through the Canal.

News from the Gulf Craft in Dubai

The renowned yacht manufacturer Gulf Craft, based in the UAE, announced that all its flybridge motoryachts made for the Emirates market will meet the requirements for floating on the Dubai Water Canal.

The CEO of Gulf Craft, Erwin Bamps, declared that the Canal will change the way yachting is represented in the UAE, allowing more people to enjoy on-water living and entertaining.
