The Marasi Business Bay represents an unparalleled waterside destination concept in the U.A.E. and the Middle East. It is a project that will include the first purpose-built yacht destination with floating cafes and restaurants, together with onshore shopping and a wide variety of entertainment amenities.
Marasi Drive, which is the first phase of the development, also called the Marasi Promenade, was opened on November 2016, while a substantial part of it is planned to be completed by 2020, and the entire project – by 2023.

1. A unique Promenade
The Marasi Promenade features 12 km of waterfront promenade, being one of the longest ones in Dubai. It has 15 m in width and it is divided into three themed areas: the Yacht Club, the Park and the Pier. Since the Promenade is already completed, it is a great place to visit while on a yacht for rent in Dubai.
2. An innovative life style in Dubai
The Marasi Business Bay will include residential units built on water, having access to vessels, offering unique views of the canal. This represents an original living proposition for the property market in Dubai.
Dubai Properties, the developer of the project, appointed the Finnish firm Admares to construct 10 water homes, two restaurants and a yacht club. The water homes will appear as if they were floating, however they will be anchored to the canal base.
The residential units of this development, which will be constructed on water with boat access, will offer direct views to the canals.
In total, around 150 homes will be built on water, with minimum sizes of 1,500 square feet.
Being designed by U&A Architects, these homes on water will have two or three bedrooms. The developer has announced that detailed designs for these units have already been made.
3. Beautiful marinas
The waterfront will have five palm tree lined marinas with 1,250 berths, as well as onshore boutique shopping and a wide variety of entertainment services.
The marinas belong to the first phase of the Marasi Business Bay in Dubai, which was projected to start at the beginning of this year.
These marinas constitute the first phase of the project, which was projected to start in the last quarter of 2016 or the first quarter of last year.
There will be conditions for transient berthing to visit vessels, too, where guests will be able to cruise on their own vessels to their preferred restaurant.
4. A fantastic Park
The Park area will be located on 50,000 sq. m and it will be comprised of 16 parks with water features, play spaces and interactive furniture. There will also be an event space with an amphitheater, an outdoor cinema and markets, completing the waterfront Promenade with a green environment which will encourage its inhabitants to lead an active lifestyle.
5. Great location in Dubai
The Marasi Business Bay is found within 550 m from Downtown Dubai and a walking distance from the Dubai Mall. It also features a spacy parking, being the perfect destination when you rent a yacht in Dubai.
